Private sale, wholesale sale, or consignment sale?

Sometimes you don’t have the time to sell your piano on your own. The piano may require a tuning, a good polishing, finish touchup, or even some repair.  In this case piano consignment may be your best option.

Prime Piano has a full piano repair and restoration shop adjacent to the showroom so if needed we bring  your piano to the level necessary to get the best sale price. The important thing is that you understand how much should be invested in the sale prep to match your budget and what makes sense for the final sales price. If your piano is in good condition and has been well maintained it may not be necessary to do any pre sale prep work and we can go directly to working out a sales price that makes sense in the current market conditions.

At Prime Piano we are mostly interested in Grand Pianos like, Steinway, Yamaha, Kawaii, and Mason Hamlin. That is not to say that we would not consider another brand or even an exceptional upright.
